I have to make this final post before I leave, but in case you guys are confused by all this, let me go into detail.
I’ve been called to serve a church mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil for 2 years. I feel that it’s something I need to do and it will be good for me on the long run. I know I might loose a couple of followers or two, but I just like to thank you guys who have read this blog. I know I haven’t been strong with my updates, but I have a life to keep up with.
As much as I love gaming and nerdy culture, I really want to focus on my career. While I was at college, I thought about what I want to do with my life and I feel that gaming can lead me to success, but I would really have to be good in order to become successful. When I mention gaming, I mean in terms of game design and making my own game. I feel that is something I want to do with my life. I want to be able to make a game that I would enjoy playing as well as others, but I shouldn’t worry about that now, since I need to get my 2 years out first.
Now this doesn’t mean I will close my blog. I’ll keep it open and when I come back, I’ll continue to update regularly, but I don’t think it’ll be often since I’ll be job searching and stuff. I hope you guys understand that I’m NOT going on a mission because I was told to. I’m doing it for myself AND the church I believe in. I believe that Jesus Christ is real and I need to help those who don’t understand Him to try to help others understand the gospel from “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints”. When I say this, I don’t mean that in a “brain washing” sort of way. I believe that others can believe in whatever they want to believe, but I just want to share how I feel about about my religion to others in the world, so they can understand why members or the Mormon church have this strong belief.
Well it’s late where I am. I’ll close this post with a huge thanks to my friends and family and those who have helped me get to where I am today, my Savior Jesus Christ, Starmen.Net for making me understand why I love EarthBound/ Mother games so much, all of my Internet friends who I love talking to whenever I feel down and gaming for helping me make strong bonds with my friends.
